Product Overview
RN27527 is a flanged high-efficiency oil-gas separator filter element. During the compression of air by a screw air compressor, a large amount of lubricating oil gets mixed into the air. The core function of RN27527 is to separate oil mist from the compressed air, allowing clean air to flow into the downstream pipeline network, while recovering the separated lubricating oil back into the system for recycling.
Core Advantages and Features of the Product
• Ultra-fine Glass Fiber Filter Media: Made of imported high-density micro-glass through composite winding. This material boasts an extremely high capacity for capturing oil droplets and can condense micron-sized oil mist into large oil droplets via coalescence effect.
• Extremely Low Residual Oil Content: Under normal operating pressure, the residual oil content of discharged air after filtration can be controlled within 1 - 3 ppm. It can not only greatly reduce the oil consumption of air compressors, but also protect downstream dryers and precision filters.
• Low Pressure Drop for Higher Energy Efficiency: The optimized air flow channel design delivers an extremely low initial Pressure Drop. This means the air compressor does not need extra power consumption to overcome resistance, which can significantly cut the enterprise’s electricity cost.
• Robust Structural Support: High-strength, corrosion-resistant thickened perforated stainless steel or galvanized steel frames are adopted both inside and outside the filter element. It can withstand the huge pressure difference during the start and stop of air compressors and prevent the filter element from collapsing or being punctured.

Maintenance & Replacement
1. Service Interval: Replace at 8000 working hours or 12 months, whichever comes first. Reduce to 6000 hours for dusty & high-temperature working environment. Replace immediately when differential pressure reaches machine alarm point, 0.05 MPa is warning threshold. 2. **Routine Check: Monitor oil consumption and discharge temperature, residual oil carryover ≤3ppm normally. Inspect oil return pipe, check valve and orifice regularly. 3. Installation Safety: Release all pressure and lock out power before disassembly. Handle element gently, avoid deformation. Replace gasket together if aging. **DO NOT clean / wash separator element**. 4. **Matching Maintenance**: Replace air filter & oil filter on schedule. Use FS-Curtis approved synthetic coolant, do not mix different lubricants. Clean cooler regularly to avoid carbon deposit. 5. Warning Signs: Fast differential pressure rise, excessive oil carryover, high oil consumption, sudden pressure drop with oil leakage means element broken, stop compressor immediately.
