DC3051 is a high-performance oil-gas separator filter element specially designed for industrial lubricated screw air compressors. Constructed with deep-pleated high-density microglass fiber material, this product is engineered to thoroughly separate lubricating oil mist from the compressed air of air compressors, ensuring high-purity, oil-free clean air at the outlet. It can effectively reduce lubricating oil consumption of the air compressor and protect downstream precision filtration equipment and gas-consuming terminals.
Core Technical Advantages
• Ultra-high Separation Efficiency: Adopts 3 µm multi-layer borosilicate micro glass fibre, which can intercept most tiny oil droplets and keep the residual oil content in the discharged air at an extremely low level (typically ≤ 3 ppm).
• High Flow Rate and Low Pressure Drop: The rated processing flow reaches up to 1020 m³/h. The optimally designed flow channel and material ratio minimize the initial resistance while maintaining a high separation rate, greatly reducing the energy consumption of the compressor.
• Robust Pressure-resistant Structure: The frame and flange are made of high-strength corrosion-resistant metal, with a maximum collapse/burst pressure of 5 bar, perfectly adapting to instantaneous pressure shocks during the start and stop of air compressors.
• Premium Sealing Protection: Equipped with 2 high-quality VITON O-rings as standard, featuring excellent resistance to high temperatures and synthetic oil corrosion, preventing gas bypass and leakage at the source.
Installation Notes
Return Pipe Inspection and Adjustment: • During disassembly, check whether the check valve of the scavenge line is clogged. • When reinserting the scavenge line, the distance from the pipe tip to the bottom of the oil separator core must be precisely controlled between 1 and 2 mm. If it is too short (touching the bottom), oil cannot be drawn out and clogging will occur; if it is too high, accumulated oil at the bottom cannot be recovered, resulting in oil carryover in exhaust. • Cleaning the oil-gas barrel flange: Before installing a new filter element, thoroughly clean the sealing surface and threads of the oil-gas barrel sealing cover with a clean silk cloth to remove old sealant or residues, and prevent impurities from falling into the inner side (clean side) of the oil separator core.
Maintenance & Replacement
Mandatory differential pressure replacement: When the differential pressure reaches 0.8 to 1.0 bar, the air compressor panel will normally trigger an alarm, and replacement must be carried out immediately. Forced operation will cause a sharp rise in power consumption and may even crush the filter element.
