DC 3185 is a high-performance split-type (built-in) oil-gas separator cartridge developed and manufactured , a well-known Italian industrial filtration brand. It is mainly installed inside the oil-gas tank of industrial screw air compressors and undertakes the core task of thoroughly separating lubricating oil mist from compressed air. Installation Notes
Before replacement, ensure the air compressor is completely shut down and all residual pressure in the oil-gas tank is fully vented to prevent oil ejection and injury.
Maintenance & Replacement
The oil separator element must be replaced immediately when the pressure difference between its inlet and outlet reaches 0.8 to 1.0 bar. Even if the scheduled service interval has not expired, the filter element is severely clogged at this point, and continued operation will cause a sharp rise in the energy consumption of the air compressor.
