4900050221 is a high-efficiency built-in air/oil separator filter designed specifically for industrial oil-injected screw air compressors. As a core component of the air compressor post-treatment system, its main function is to separate and recover tiny lubricating oil droplets mixed in compressed air. In this way, it can continuously supply high-quality dry, clean and oil-free compressed air for factory production, while greatly reducing the lubricating oil consumption of the air compressor.
Product Advantages and Features
• Ultra-low oil residue: The oil content of separated compressed air can usually be controlled within 1–3 mg/m³ (ppm), far below industrial standards, effectively protecting downstream air-using equipment and precision pneumatic components.
• Low initial pressure drop (low resistance): The elaborately designed folded or wound structure reduces airflow resistance. A low pressure drop means lower power consumption of the air compressor, bringing remarkable energy and electricity saving benefits for enterprises.
• Patented anti-static design: Equipped with double conductive metal flange gaskets or a special conductive metal skeleton, it can effectively dissipate static electricity generated by airflow friction and eliminate the risk of internal system combustion and explosion caused by static sparks.
• Excellent pressure resistance stability: It adopts a high-strength thickened perforated stainless steel / galvanized inner lining skeleton to ensure that the structure will not deform or break down under an instantaneous pressure difference of up to 5 bar (0.5 MPa).
• High temperature resistance and corrosion resistance: Both the core filter material and sealant are specially chemically modified, enabling stable long-term operation under harsh high-temperature and high-pressure oil-gas mixed environments at 120°C with low aging tendency.
Installation Notes

Maintenance & Replacement
Standard replacement cycle: Under normal operating conditions, replacement is recommended every 3000–4000 operating hours. • Differential pressure alarm (key indicator): Immediate replacement is required when the designed differential pressure across the oil separator element reaches 0.8–1.0 bar (0.08–0.1 MPa). Forced operation will cause a sharp rise in power consumption, and may even crush the filter element and lock the main unit. • Maximum service time: Even if the operating hour threshold has not been reached, replacement is recommended if the filter element has been in continuous use for more than 1 year due to aging of the filter media and sealant.
